Privacy
One place that answers to nobody but you.
A health record this personal should belong to the person living it. Here's how Journey Tracker keeps it that way — in plain words, matching our Privacy Policy.
On your device and in your iCloud
Your data lives on your device and, if you enable it, in your personal iCloud account for sync and backup. We don't run servers that store your health data, and we can't see it. Apple's iCloud encryption protects data in transit and at rest.
Nothing shared on your behalf
We don't share your information with anyone — not doctors, employers, insurers, or advertisers. Sharing is entirely in your hands: you can export reports or share progress images yourself, but nothing is ever sent for you.
Apple Health, on your terms
You choose exactly what Journey Tracker can read from or write to Apple Health. Permissions are managed by iOS, and you can change or revoke them anytime in Settings. Health data is never used for advertising.
No ads, no data sales
There is no advertising in Journey Tracker, no selling of data, and no cross-app tracking. The business model is simple: the app is the product, you are the customer.
Photos handled carefully
Progress photos are stored in your own iCloud app container. Location and camera metadata are stripped when a photo is saved, and the built-in face blur for shared images runs entirely on your device.
Locked by default
Biometric app lock (Face ID / Touch ID) is on from the first launch, and the app blurs itself in the app switcher — so a borrowed phone doesn't mean an open health record.
Leaving is easy too
Export your record as spreadsheets or PDF reports whenever you like, and delete everything — on-device data, iCloud data, and settings — from a single button in Settings. Your journey is portable because it's yours.
